- Proper electronic print control
- Well defined specifications to support all part prints
- Control and management of engineering changes
- Proper ID of all incoming parts to include: part number, supplier, ECL, and build date
- Electronic inspection reports from the supplier for all delivered parts
- A formal deviation request and approval process for all items where a supplier suggests deviation or print interpretation
- Audit process of incoming parts that utilize an independent metrology lab for validation of inspection reports
- An established PR&R process
